Getting Here
By Car
Easy access from the valley motorway exit at Riddes. It takes approx 20 mins from the motorway exit to reach Chalet Noisette.
Note: The chalet is located on a side road which can become icy and snowy in winter months. Please do always check the condition of the road before driving. Alway use suitable winter tyres and / or chains. Free parking is possible on the main road below the chalet when the road conditions are not suitable which is a 4 minute walk away.
It is possible to reach Italy by car via the Grand-Saint-Bernard Tunnel which gives access to Courmayeur and Cervina.
Road conditions, traffic, and weather can affect travel times, especially in mountainous areas. It's advisable to check the road conditions and any travel advisories before your journey. Additionally, during winter, it's mandatory to have winter tires or snow chains, as well as be aware of any specific regulations regarding winter driving in the region.
By Train
Riddes Train Station
The nearest train station is approx 20 minutes by car from Chalet Noisette in the town on Riddes.
Public transport is avaible from Riddes train station to the centre of La Tzoumz using the Telecabine lift which is located in centre of Riddes village. This will take you to the village of Iserables and from here there is a public bus which takes you onto La Tzoumaz.
From Riddes train station you are take a train to Geneva Airport.
Riddes station also provides rail connection to Sion, Brig, Martigny, Lausanne, Montreux & Geneva.
Riddes station connects to both Zermatt and Verbier (Chable station) resorts.
It is possible to connect to France (via nearby Martigny Train Station) giving you access to Chamonix & Megeve using the Mont Blanc Train Express.
It is possible to connect to Italy (via nearby Sion Station) giving you access to the Italian Lakes & Milan.

From the Airport
By Car:
From Geneva Airport to La Tzoumaz. (Approx 1hr45)
After picking up your rental car or accessing your own vehicle, exit the airport following the signs for the A1 motorway (Autoroute 1) in the direction of Lausanne/Sion.
Stay on the A1 motorway, following the signs for Lausanne/Sion. The motorway will take you through the cities of Lausannea and Montreux as you continue towards Sion.
Take the exit for Riddes which is about 10 mins after you pass the Martigny exit. La Tzoumaz is approximately 15 mins from the motorway exit.

By Public Transport:
From Geneva Airport Rail Station to Riddes Rail Station and onto La Tzoumaz. (Approx 2hr15)
The train station is conveniently located in the airport building. Just follow the signs to the train station within the airport terminal.
Trains from Geneva Airport to Riddes Train Station usually require a transfer at Martigny.
Once you arrive in Martigny, you'll need to transfer to another train for the final leg of the journey to Riddes. The train journey from Martigny to Riddes usually takes 10-15 minutes.
The train journey from Geneva Airport to Riddes Station typically takes around 1.5 hours in total.
Once at Riddes Train Station walk across to the Lift / Telecabine which is located in centre of Riddes Village and this will take you to the village of Iserables and from here there is a public bus which takes you onto La Tzoumaz.

Getting around La Tzoumaz
From Chalet Noisette it is a 12 minute walk to reach the village centre, supermarket, and main ski lifts. The village is easily accessible by foot.
In winter months there are free daily ski buses which connect to the village centre and ski lifts. The nearest bus stop is just below Chalet Noisette which is a 4 minute walk away on the main road.
In summer months the road to Verbier is open providing quick access by car or e-bike to neighbouring Verbier village.
There are many hiking trials and bike trails open in the summer to explore.
Getting to the Mountain Lifts
From Chalet Noisette it is a 12 minute walk to reach main mountain / ski lifts.
In winter months there are free daily ski buses which connect to ski lifts. The nearest bus stop is just below Chalet Noisette which is a 4 minute walk away on the main road.
La Tzoumaz mountain lifts provide access to Verbier and also connect to the rest of the 4 Vallee domain in both winter and summer months.
Getting to Verbier
In summer months the direct mountain road to Verbier is open providing quick access by car or e-bike to neighbouring Verbier village (in approx 25 mins by car). Mountain lifts also provide access to Verbier in peak summer months.
In winter months the mountain ski lifts connect La Tzoumaz to neighbouring Verbier.
